Karter + Lauren

August 10, 2024 - The Pavilion at Sandy Pines, Demotte, IN

Summer swept into the Pavilion at Sandy Pines.  Bold pink roses and wildflowers off set the butterflies as Lauren and Karter prepared for their day. 

Lauren was surrounded by her closest family and friends as hair and makeup was being done and Taylor Swift played overhead in the Bridal Suite.  Lauren’s bohemian style threaded through her day from the PJ's to the hair, the fitted lace gown with touches of embellishments.  The bride and her maids danced, sang, and even made a few TikTok’s to be completed when her maid of honor get’s married….several years from now! 

Upstairs Karter played it cool while his groomsman finished figuring out how to put in cuff links and button studs.  The best man and brother of the groom assisted with straightening his jacket and tie as he offered him a few words of wisdom before heading outside for groomsman photos.

The day was cool and breezy, a perfect summer afternoon.  The sun shone and the golf course bustled as the couple made their way to the garden to say “I Do”. 

Lauren was escorted by her mother as her veil trailed around her and the wind swept it calmly before Karter carefully unveiled his bride.  Rings were exchanged, one may have slipped out of their fingers before being placed. 

With that the couple was wed and we snuck away to the dock where the light and grass were the perfect backdrop for couple portraits. 

After the grand entrance, Karter and Lauren cut into their chocolate two-tier cake topped with a couple similarly lounging onto each other and the sweetest pup with a frosted nose!

The Maid of honor gave a heartfelt toast to Lauren as the best man kicked of his toast with some impressive dad jokes!  Guests filled the dance floor and late-night s’mores were enjoyed by those looking for a sweet treat or looking to warm up by the fire.

Stars dotted the skies and the cool evening welcomed the celebrations for Karter and Lauren.
