June 29, 2024 - Sandy Pines Pavilion
Lauren was first in front of my lens as a senior, wind in her hair sand in her toes, it was no surprise her engagement session with David took place at the beach either. I have been blessed to photograph this family several times and it is impossible not to mention the tragedy that started off the wedding week. Lauren's brother in-law and Matron of Honors husband of just over a year was killed in a motorcycle accident. The strength, love and trust in God's plan that this whole family exemplified was remarkable and the wedding day went on.

Lauren is no stranger to weddings, as a hair stylist at Bloom she has helped many ladies look their absolute best; but this time it was her turn.
The day started with rain which Lauren said "is good luck and is a sign of fertility". The girls were bustling around the Bridal House at The Pavilion at Sandy Pines and while the girls at Moda and Bloom worked their magic I worked on details. Simple gold bands with delicate pearl earrings, Lauren's classic style threaded throughout the entire day. Her robe's lace trim was repurposed from her grandmother's dress and added to her timeless style. As she slipped into her fitted gown with lace bodice she and her mother gawked at how good they both looked, which was evident by her maids and father's reactions.

Upstairs David and his groomsmen were enjoying the space and a little late on the getting ready front, but they pulled it together and had a blast taunting David.

The dappled light surrounding the Bridal House at Sandy Pines was the perfect space to photograph the Bride.
The garden was filled with friends and family as the bridal party processed down the aisle. The flower girls and ring bearer had a slight delay possibly mixed with anxiety and a few tears, but they prepared they way for Lauren to be escorted by her father into the hands of a man that would take her forever into his heart.
And just like that two became one and David dipped his bride with a long kiss.

Guests enjoyed cocktails under the pavilion as the humidity decided to leave us making way for joyous celebrations, tears, and heartfelt toasts. The heavens joined in the celebrations as Daniel made himself known in the most beautiful sunset.
Love will never not know this couple.
